Odd Balls

My life is but a weaving between my Lord and me: I cannot choose the colours, He worketh steadily. Oft times He weaveth sorrow and I, in foolish pride, forget He sees the upper and I the underside. Not til the loom is silent and the shuttles cease to fly, shall God unroll the canvas and explain the reasons why. The dark threads are as needed in the Weavers skillful hand, as the threads of gold and silver in the pattern He has planned.

Borstal Odd Balls is our craft group which meets on a Tuesday morning at 10am in the Parish Room. Whether you are a  knitter, crocheter, sewer, felter, artist or any other crafter you are very welcome.  You can bring your own project or work on something to sell at the Church Craft Stall.

We sell items made for the church at our Table Top and Seasonal Fairs (see our Coming Soon page for upcoming dates). All of the money we raise from these sales either goes to St. Matthew’s Church or a nominated charity.

We have also enjoy cup of tea or coffee and maybe even a biscuit or two whilst we discuss life, the universe and anything else that crops up!
