St Matthews is open for Sunday worship at 10.30am every week.

The first, second and fifth (where appropriate) Sunday of every month is a Holy Communion service and the third and fourth Sunday of every month is a Service of the Word.

At St. Matthew’s we enjoy a good sing! We sing a mixture of traditional and modern hymns and welcome everyone.

Colouring activities are provided for children, and we welcome children of all ages.

Everyone is welcome to stay for refreshments, which are served in the Parish Room at the back of Church after the service.

When you can’t get to church in person for any reason…  

Sometimes a busy work schedule or increased responsibilities can interfere with traditional worship times, or you may be unable to leave your home.

This does not mean that you can no longer participate in worship, it just means that you need to find a different way to worship that suits your lifestyle.

There are several churches that now provide online services. These are broadcast live so on-line chat can enable interaction with the congregation and the pastoral team as with attending a church service. Most sites also save these services so that they can be watched at any time to suit you.
