Church Services

Many churches are holding services ‘behind closed doors’ and streaming these online on facebook or other platforms, and church services are also broadcast on TV and radio.

Here are some suggestions:

A service of worship is broadcast every Sunday on Radio 4 at 8.10am and is available as a podcast or on the radio 4 website.

Evensong (archived evensongs from former years) is broadcast on Radio 3 at 3.30pm on Wednesdays, and repeated at 3pm on Sundays.

During the current crisis, a service put together by the national church is available on the Church of England website from 9am onwards every Sunday.  It can also be found on the Church of England facebook page.

There is a Sunday morning church service at 10.45am on BBC1 each Sunday

Songs of Praise is broadcast at 1.15pm on BBC1
