Sunday Worship 10.30am
Sunday services at St Matthews at 10.30am
We are delighted to be able to be back in church for Sunday Worship,
subject to Covid restrictions.
Sadly we are not yet allowed to sing in church, but we are delighted that Markham Chesterfield, our organist, has agreed to play for us.
Activities are available for children.
Current government advice is that face coverings should be warn by all visitors and worshippers.
We look forward to welcoming you on Sunday.

Keep in touch:
St Matthew’s is a friendly and inclusive church in the heart of Borstal Village in Rochester. We meet together each Sunday to celebrate the love of God and to learn more about the divine goodness of Jesus Christ.
All are welcome at St Matthew’s, whether you are regular worshippers, new to the Christian faith or ‘just having a look’. Our worship takes place every Sunday morning at 10:30 and is usually a communion service, traditional in style but with some contemporary elements and creative surprises. Our music ranges from traditional hymn to modern worship songs, accompanied by organ and supported by a small choir. We have activities for children most Sunday mornings during the service and young people are always made welcome. Tea and coffee are served after morning worship. On the first Sunday of each month the service is designed to appeal to all ages together.
We have some parking spaces round the back of church. This is also where you will find our beautiful multi-sensory garden, which is fully accessible and open for the community to use. Our church hall, which seats up to 70 people and has a kitchen and stage, is available for hire on a regular or occasional basis. We have lots of other events going on, including our Messy Church service which takes place on the third Sunday of the month at 3:30pm in the Church Hall.
